International Journal of Eco-Innovation in Science and Engineering (IJEISE) is an international journal published by Faculty of Engineering and Science, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur. The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed.

The peer-review process aims to ensure that only high-quality scholarly works aligned with the journal’s scope are eligible for publication. This mechanism is objective and constitutes a fundamental element of quality scholarly publishing, as practiced by leading academic journals worldwide. Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining IJEISE’s quality standards through a systematic process.

Initial Manuscript Evaluation

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial assessment by the Editor. A manuscript may be declined at this stage if it is deemed lacking in originality, contains significant scientific errors, exhibits poor grammar or English usage, or falls outside the journal’s focus and scope. Manuscripts meeting the minimum requirements are forwarded to at least two experts for peer review.

Type of Peer Review

IJEISE applies a single-blind review system, in which the reviewers’ identities remain confidential throughout the process. Reviewers are selected based on relevant expertise, and the reviewer database is continuously updated.

Reviewer Reports

Reviewers are asked to assess whether the manuscript:

• Demonstrates originality
• Is supported by appropriate methodology
• Adheres to established ethical standards
• Clearly presents results that support the conclusions
• Accurately cites relevant prior research

Language editing is not a primary component of the peer-review process; however, reviewers may suggest language improvements if they wish.

Final Report

The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript will be communicated to the author, along with recommendations and, where applicable, direct comments from the reviewers.

Editor’s Decision is Final

While reviewers provide input to the editor, the final authority to accept or reject a manuscript rests solely with the editor.
